Cleaning Services Supervisor

Job Description: The Cleaning Services Supervisor oversees the full-scale cleaning operations of various commercial and residential facilities throughout the Bay Area. This role includes the supervision and performance of a variety of routine and specialized cleaning duties, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards, operation of a variety of trucks utilized in maintenance and cleaning activities, performing a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance of street sweeping, power washing and hauling services, supporting a positive experience for employees, customers/clients, vendors and visitors, coordinating schedules, inspecting work quality and managing supplies. Key Responsibilities:· Plan, prioritize, supervise, train, review and participate in the work of department team members to maintain consistent service quality.· Assign daily tasks and cleaning routes based on operational needs.· Prepare and manage employee schedules.· Schedule relief, emergency and vacation coverage.· Coordinate and perform special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning activities.· Manage E-Waste disposal program.· Conduct regular team meetings, performance check-ins, and provide coaching as needed.· Conduct regular inspections, walkthroughs, and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.· Address service deficiencies promptly and implement corrective actions.· Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.· Manage timecards, payroll, daily logs, and client communication for operational issues.· Maintain systems for creating estimates, invoices, and tracking service requests.· Ensure equipment is used properly and report maintenance needs.· Monitor inventory of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.· Place orders when necessary and ensure proper storage and handling.· Track usage to prevent shortages or overstocking.· Serve as the primary point of contact for client or tenant requests related to cleaning services.· Communicate service updates or issues clearly and professionally.· All other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Skills:· Experience in cleaning or janitorial services (5 years preferred).· Prior leadership or supervisory experience.· Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, techniques, equipment (including commercial heavy-duty/truck-mounted equipment), and safety procedures.· Ability to work flexible hours as needed.· Excellent communication and organizational skills.· Ability to speak and write fluently in English and Spanish.· Ability to operate a variety of large trucks (sweeper, dump, scissor-lift, boom-lift, bucket, etc.).· Experience in commercial environments. Special Requirements: Possession of or ability to obtain: 1. A valid state driver’s license with no active violations within the previous five years.2. Certifications in cleaning, sanitation, or facility management (e.g., ISSA CIMS, OSHA training).3. Scissor and Boom-Lift Training operation certifications. Hours and Days of Work This position is typically Monday through Friday however projects can be scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
