Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the current Central Processing & Sterilization Program for gaps, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement
- Restructure the program to ensure a logical, effective, and student-friendly curriculum flow
- Align curriculum with current industry standards and best practices in sterile processing
- Train and coach instructors on effective teaching methods, communication, and curriculum delivery
- Ensure instructors are properly equipped to prepare students for externships and entry-level roles
- Develop or refine lesson plans, training materials, and instructional guidelines
- Provide recommendations for ongoing program improvement and sustainability
- Collaborate with leadership to implement changes and ensure consistency moving forward
- Extensive hands-on experience in Central Processing / Sterile Processing
- Strong understanding of industry standards, procedures, and expectations
- Experience in training, instruction, or workforce development preferred
- Proven ability to evaluate and improve educational or training programs
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver results within a defined timeframe
- A subject matter expert who understands both the technical and instructional side of sterile processing
