Philadelphia Technician Training Institute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly motivated American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to support a newly enrolled deaf student. This role is urgent and essential to ensuring the student has full access to instruction, communication, and hands-on training throughout their program.
This position would be over the course of 6 months or until student completes the program. Schedule would be Monday-Friday from 3pm to 10pm.

- Provide real-time ASL interpretation during classes, labs, and school activities
- Facilitate clear communication between the student, instructors, and peers
- Support the student consistently throughout the program schedule (3 PM – 10 PM)
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy in interpretation
- Adapt to a fast-paced, hands-on trade school environment
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Previous interpreting experience in educational or vocational settings preferred
- RID certification or equivalent (preferred, not required depending on experience)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and ability to commit to the full 6-month duration
