Required Skills & Abilities
- At least two (2) years of hotel food & beverage or restaurant supervisor experience required
- At least one (1) year bartending experience
- Flexible to work AM and PM shifts, mid-shifts, weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
- Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours and lift/carry heavy trays weighting at least 25-30 pounds
- Current TABC and Food Handler Certification Required
- Supervise food & beverage staff and communicate performance observations to the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Assist with managing food & beverage operations for restaurant, lobby bar and in room delivery service
- Be present in restaurant and lobby bar, engage with guests and give hands on support to food & beverage staff to ensure guests expectations are exceeded
- Train new hires and ensure service delivery consistently meets performance requirements and exceeds guest expectations
- Inspect restaurant and conduct walk throughs to ensure opening and closing duties are consistently practiced
- Address and resolve guest concerns related to restaurant service and food and beverages
