INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE – Custom Apparel & Promotional Products
Location: Muscatine, IA - Phelps Uniform Specialists Main Office | Reports to: Division Manager

We’re looking for someone who lives for the thrill of the sale and isn’t afraid to work hard for big results. This is an on-site, inside sales role — no hiding behind emails. You’ll be cold calling, relationship-building, and turning “not interested” into “when can we start?”

What You’ll Do

Make the calls. You’ll be cold calling past customers and finding new leads every day.

Close the deal. Understand customer needs, pitch the value, and seal the sale.

Own your pipeline. Build, grow, and maintain your own book of business.

Be the face (and voice!) of Phelps Custom Apparel & Promotional Products. Walk-in customers, inbound calls, quotes, and follow-ups — you’ll handle it all.

Stay organized and follow through. Keep orders moving, customers happy, and systems up to date.

What You Bring to the Table:

At least 2 years of sales experience in a similar role

Strong communication and follow-up skills (written and verbal)

Ability to stay organized and juggle multiple tasks

Confidence with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)

A high school diploma required, degree preferred
Working Conditions
You’ll be on your feet sometimes, sitting at a desk other times, and occasionally lifting up to 20 lbs. This role is fully in-office, where the energy is high and the wins are celebrated loud.
