The Department of Civil Engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver is seeking applications for a postdoctoral researcher position under the supervision of Dr. Amy Kim. The successful candidate will contribute to research focused on evaluating the impacts of transportation disruptions caused by natural hazards and extreme events on community connectivity.
Requirements
– Expertise in transportation operations and network modelling
– Proficiency in data analysis using statistical and/or machine learning methods
– Experience with spatial mapping
– Strong coding skills, with preference for Python
– Ability to analyze large, multi-year datasets related to disruptions and network analysis
