What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development Specialist position at PHDC?
A Development Specialist performs highly specialized and technical work in support of public and privately assisted programs and projects generally designed to produce community development projects include but not limited to, business, economic, and residential developments. Employees in this class perform duties under the general supervision and assignment of the Senior Vice President of Land Management. Employees have a wide range of general responsibilities including assisting the SVP in monitoring project developments, analysis of financial feasibility and preparation of documentation relating to major development projects, preparation of marketing information, preparation of funding proposals, providing technical assistance through existing and innovative forums, workshops and programs, and communicating program policies and procedures to for-profit and non-profit corporations.
