Senior Product Development Specialist

Our client, a leading beauty brand, is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Product Specialist to help execute and manage the New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle. Drive NPD & Product Lifecycle Management

• Manage the end-to-end NPD lifecycle: concept ideation, feasibility, testing, development, validation, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
• Support product lifecycle planning, including phase-ins and phase-outs, ensuring overall product portfolio health.
• Contribute to building the product pipeline, aligning consumer insights, competitive benchmarks, and business needs.
• Develop and maintain BOMs, packaging, and product benefits/claim documentation.
• In-depth competitive analysis and deliver consumer insights into actionable NPD opportunities.

Manage Cross-Functional Leadership & Vendors

• Partner with marketing, creative, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure project is delivered on timely manner
• Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and agencies to manage quality standards and development process
• Track project progresses, sample flow, and project milestones across stakeholders
• Effective communicate business cases, project updates, and proposals to leadership with clarity and impact

Steer Innovation, Problem-Solving & Impact

• Identify consumer-driven opportunities through competitive analysis and trend research
• Find creative, out-of-the-box solutions to overcome launch or process challenges
• Prepare presentations and product brief decks to communicate effectively
• Support building team culture of accountability, ownership, and innovation within the team

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Packaging, or related field required.
• 3 years of experience in product development, NPD, or lifecycle management within beauty or consumer packaged goods.
• Proven track record of supporting or leading product launches from concept through commercialization.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accountability with BOMs, packaging specs, and product documentation.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to influence and align stakeholders.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset: motivated to think creatively and perform agility
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools or photoshop tools.
