We’re hiring an Optician 1 to join a patient-focused eye care practice in Caldwell, ID.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, working with patients, and being part of a team. Optical experience is a plus, but it’s not required. We’re willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn.
What You’ll DoAs an Optician 1, you’ll help create a positive experience for patients from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities include:
Welcoming and assisting patients
Answering phones and assisting with patient questions
Scheduling appointments
Checking patients in and out
Assisting patients with their optical needs
Providing friendly, professional customer service
Helping patients understand their visit and next steps
Handling front desk and administrative duties
Maintaining accurate patient information
Working with the practice team to keep the office running smoothly
The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, organized, and comfortable working directly with patients.
You’ll bring:

Good time-management and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Basic computer skills
Professional presentation
1 year of customer service or related experience preferred
Optical or healthcare experience is a plus
