The Global Markets Client Operations Administration team sits within the Client Operations group, under the Chief Operating Office for the Global Markets Front Office of a major financial institution. The team oversees processes that support Front Office personnel, the Credit function, and the Legal function — including trading limit validation, Front Office system processing, trade verifications, legal agreement reviews, and related workflows.
This role will support the Client Operations Administration team in building and improving the control framework, maintaining process documentation, supporting project initiatives, and ensuring continuity across daily operations. Responsibilities include updating credit limits in the firm's primary trading platform, reviewing trade terms, coordinating workflows across the group, and supporting trading desks in alignment with internal governance standards and business growth objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to draft procedures, comfort in a fast-moving environment, and flexibility as processes evolve.
Role Description
Based on-site in Charlotte, NC, this position supports day-to-day operations for the Client Operations Administration team. The individual will contribute to control framework development, documentation, project coverage, and cross-functional support. Key activities include maintaining credit limit data in the front-line trading system, reviewing trade terms, and collaborating across teams to support governance and business development goals.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and ongoing maintenance of operational process controls
- Draft and update procedural documentation for various desk functions
- Identify, test, and implement front-line system improvements to address inefficiencies and resolve system issues
- Assist in managing cross-business projects focused on automation, growth, and strengthening first- and second-line operational effectiveness
- Collaborate with credit underwriting and client management teams to support trade readiness and ongoing counterparty coverage
- Review cross-booking transactions and conduct terms & conditions checks on new and existing credit arrangements
- Perform trade verification checks against applicable limit parameters
- Maintain system records with updated limit and counterparty credit information
- Conduct agreement validation reviews
- Process external rating updates as needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Business, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or agreement/contract operations
