Position Summary Analyze and recommend investment-grade and high-yield corporate bonds to outperform defined market benchmarks within a diversified fixed income portfolio.
Essential Duties
- Conduct fundamental credit analysis with an emphasis on financial modeling to identify compelling corporate bond opportunities
- Develop in-depth research reports including financial projections, credit valuations, and investment recommendations
- Present investment ideas persuasively to portfolio managers; collaborate with senior leadership on portfolio strategy
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry sources to generate new investment ideas; actively gather and interpret market intelligence
- Collaborate with global investment teams across multiple time zones, delivering thorough and timely research to both domestic and international stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA and/or CFA designation preferred
- 3β5 years of credit analysis experience within fixed income and fund investing; buy-side and sell-side backgrounds both considered
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office; experience with Bloomberg and related research platforms required
- Strong capabilities in company research, asset valuation, and relative value analysis
- Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills with the ability to present and defend investment recommendations
