What are the responsibilities and job description for the International Tax Senior Manager position at Phaxis?
Responsible for delivering efficient, accurate, and timely review of all assigned clients' tax returns.
Provide clients with tax guidance regarding planning and compliance to implement tax strategies that align with client's business objectives.
Assume full responsibility for directing engagements and special assignments, can review workpapers, financial statements and reports and conduct discussions with clients.
Review of international tax compliance forms and working with a dedicated international tax team
Must be technically proficient in corporate, international, federal and state and local tax
Supervise and direct staff; ensure that assignments are accomplished within the budgeted time
Interact with clients to discuss issues with regard to tax information throughout the year.
8 years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience;
Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, consolidated federal tax returns, partnership returns, and combined state tax returns.
CPA license required
Proficient with a computer software packages including Microsoft Office Suite, Tax software, ProSystems and CCH.
