The Role: Your Mission as a Demand Generation Specialist
We're looking for a student or graduate who is interested in applying their technical and communications skills to market and sell high end motion capture equipment.
Your mission is not just about making calls; it's about connecting with a highly specialized audience—researchers, scientists, and engineers—and understanding their needs. You will create marketing efforts that help convert leads to opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Nurturing: Research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities through a variety of channels, including email campaigns, professional networks, and inbound marketing leads.
Strategic Outreach: Craft and execute compelling outreach strategies that resonate with a technical audience, focusing on their specific research challenges and goals.
Market Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify new markets and applications for our technology, helping us expand our footprint in the research community and beyond.
CRM Management: Utilize and maintain our CRM system to track all lead activity, ensuring a clean and effective pipeline for the sales team.
Collaboration: Work closely with the PhaseSpace team to optimize campaigns and messaging.
What You'll Bring
Technical Acumen: You should be comfortable with technical concepts and able to quickly learn and articulate the value of a complex product. A background in a technical field (e.g., engineering, physics, computer science, biological sciences) is a significant advantage.
Exceptional Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to write concise and compelling emails and engage in professional, consultative conversations.
Analytical Mindset: You are data-driven and can use metrics to measure the effectiveness of your efforts, identify trends, and make strategic adjustments.
CRM & Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CRM software and marketing automation tools is a bonus.
Resilience & Self-Motivation: You are a self-starter who is not afraid of rejection and is motivated by achieving ambitious goals.
Proven Track Record: Some experience in a lead generation or business development role is a bonus, preferably within a B2B or technical environment. Experience with a high-value product ($10K ) is a major plus.
Education
Candidates with a strong technical background or relevant professional certifications and a passion for sales and marketing will be the best combination.
