What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician Trainee position at Pharmacy Innovations?
Pharmacy Innovations is looking for a motivated individual to join our team full-time. We will provide comprehensive pharmacy technician training to get you started in this career. In this role you will have the opportunity to positively impact the health of others. You'll work in a professional environment dedicated to quality, patient safety and strict compliance with all federal state and local pharmacy regulations. We will provide the training and support necessary for qualified candidates to obtain and maintain the required Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician registration.
We will train you to support the team's ability to:
- Data enter patient demographics and process prescription claims
- Count, package, label and organize prescription orders
- Prepare and package customer orders for shipping
- Receive and process incoming shipments of drug products and ancillary supplies
Customer Service Responsibilities:
- Handle large number of inbound calls in a timely manner
- Identify customer needs, clarify information to route calls appropriately
- Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by going the extra mile
- Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative goals
- Perform other clerical tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- REQUIRED: Must possess or be able to obtain before employment begins, an active Pharmacy Technician Trainee registration (or higher credential) issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience with MS Excel and Outlook (preferred)
- Ability to learn and work in multiple software programs
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
