We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support strategic portfolio initiatives within a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role will focus on planning, executing, and delivering projects that support both the reliable supply of existing products and the implementation of new capabilities, technologies, and site improvements.
The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and risks, and ensure successful delivery of business-critical initiatives across manufacturing and technical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple projects across pharmaceutical manufacturing and technical operations.
- Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
- Support portfolio governance activities and provide project health assessments and status reporting.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder reviews to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Evaluate business needs, vendor proposals, and project opportunities to support strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project management best practices.
- Collaborate with site leadership, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and technical operations teams.
- Drive successful delivery of capital, sustainability, innovation, refurbishment, and operational improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of project management experience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Life Sciences, or GMP-regulated industry.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects from initiation through execution and delivery.
- Experience managing project scope, budget, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or other Project Management certification.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field.
- Experience supporting CAPEX, facility, manufacturing, process improvement, or technical operations projects.
- Knowledge of engineering disciplines and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
- Experience working within FDA-regulated, clean room, biotech, or hospital environments.
Salary : $45 - $55
