What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Pharmacy position at PharmaCare Services?
As a Director of Pharmacy, you will:
- Plan, direct and monitor all financial, operational, professional, and clinical activities of the department
- Ensure that all pharmacy staff is currently licensed/certified/registered and have adequate Continuing Education credits
- Provide hospital staff with timely information relative to new drugs, policies and standards of care that relate to medication use/safety
- Keep current with State regulations regarding the practice of Pharmacy and implements changes as necessary to maintain compliance
- This is a working Director position for a 27 bed Physical Rehab Hospital with an average daily census of 18
What we're looking for......
- Hospital pharmacy management experience (at least two years preferred)
- TX State Board Pharmacist License
- Sterile Compounding experience and qualifications
- Good computer skills and experience with pharmacy software
- Self-motivating and proven leadership ability
