Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and food handling tasks.
- Manage cash register transactions with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change.
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring all items meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Support sales goals by promoting menu items, upselling products, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge preferred; a passion for coffee is a plus!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling.
- Ability to work effectively in a retail or café environment with a team-oriented attitude.
