We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Community Outreach and Placement Coordinator at Passionate Hands Transitional Housing focusing on community education, developing referrals, and enhancing the facility's image to assist in meeting its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
What You Will Do:
- Community Education: Provide information about the organization's services to individuals, families, and community partners.
- Referral Development: Implement strategies to generate referrals to the facility's mental health, substance use, and rehabilitation programs.
- Networking and Advocacy: Building relationships within the community and advocating for individuals with addiction, mental illness, and homelessness issues to ensure they have access to necessary resources.
- Positive Community Image: Representing the organization in a professional manner that fosters trust and respect among community members and partners.
- Goal Alignment: Ensuring outreach efforts support the organization's mission to help clients gain treatment and support necessary to lead a healthy and productive life, and achieve self-sufficiency.
- Collaboration: Working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients. Handle administrative tasks related to program documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Build our program roster by engaging potential clients and guiding them toward enrollment
- Establish and nurture community partnerships with clinics, providers, organizations, and businesses
- Promote the SUD Program through targeted outreach, presentations, networking events, and one-on-one conversations
- Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the values and vision of our program to all stakeholders
- Collaborate with the SUD Director to ensure outreach aligns with program goals and regulatory standards

- Leadership experience with a track record of managing teams or leading community projects effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Prior experience in outreach, engagement, marketing, or community organizing (especially in behavioral health or social services)
- Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with SUD services or behavioral health (a plus, but we’ll train the right person)
