The Infrastructure Solutions Intern will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-based platforms, infrastructure applications, and core networking components. Working alongside experienced infrastructure and cloud engineers, the intern will help ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security across hybrid environments.
This role provides hands-on exposure to administering and supporting Windows and Linux server environments, including patching, upgrades, hardening, and lifecycle management activities. The intern will assist with monitoring infrastructure systems, analyzing logs and alerts, and proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues to maintain system reliability and security.
The key focus of the internship is supporting cloud infrastructure and security initiatives. The intern will gain experience with cloud services, identity and access management concepts, security controls, and infrastructure compliance standards. Collaboration with application, security, and network teams will be essential in supporting business initiatives and ensuring infrastructure designs align with security policies and regulatory requirements.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with technology assessments, contributing to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures. The intern will also participate in infrastructure modernization efforts, cloud optimization initiatives, and opportunities to improve performance, security posture, and cost efficiency.
