PGS Gold & Coin is a premier multi-location precious metals, rare coin, and collectibles dealer serving the Chicagoland region. With five retail locations and continued regional expansion, our business depends on reliable, secure, and well-designed technology systems.
We are seeking a hands-on Director of Information Systems & ERP to own, operate, and continuously improve our technology environment across all locations.
This is not a theoretical or advisory role. This position requires real execution, accountability, and ownership.
What You Will Own
- Full administration and optimization of Odoo ERP (3 years required)
- ERP workflows, CRM, reporting, permissions, and integrations
- Google Workspace administration (users, security, access)
- IT operations for five retail locations / approximately 40 users
- PC hardware, peripherals, and lifecycle management
- Printers, copiers, scanners, and office equipment
- Phone and voicemail systems
- Remote support platforms (TeamViewer or similar)
- Networking (routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
- Hardware purchasing recommendations and vendor coordination
- On-site and remote troubleshooting and support
- Systems uptime, stability, and operational continuity
Availability & Expectations
- Availability outside standard business hours when required
- Willingness to travel between PGS store locations
- Ownership mindset with urgency during outages or failures
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years expert-level Odoo ERP experience
- ERP CRM administration in a live operating business
- Google Workspace Admin experience
- Strong PC hardware and troubleshooting knowledge
- Multi-location IT support experience
- Remote support experience (TeamViewer or equivalent)
