Duties
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders with precision, utilizing order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts as needed.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
- Maintain organized stock areas through stocking, replenishing inventory, and ensuring proper placement for easy retrieval.
- Utilize warehouse management systems such as AS400 or MRP software to track inventory levels, update records, and generate reports.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to prevent discrepancies and support accurate stock data.
- Assist with packaging products securely for shipping to minimize damage during transit and support e-commerce order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes.
- Valid certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software is highly desirable.
- Strong basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities.
- Ability to operate RF scanners and other warehouse technology efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order picking & packing.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and stand for extended periods; comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
