In this role, you will:
- Oversee maintenance and reliability engineering tasks, including the redesign, upkeep, and repair of utility systems, buildings, and equipment.
- Take responsibility for individual contributions to achieve team deliverables, working effectively as a team member and coordinating with others.

- Follow standard procedures to complete tasks of varying scope, sequence, and complexity within the agreed timeframe.
- Identify and solve moderately routine problems.

- Track repair history of process support systems and equipment, lead or participate in continuous improvement activities, and make recommendations regarding improved machine performance.

- Manage own time and professional development, accountable for own results and prioritize own workflow Routine performance of preventative maintenance on process support systems and equipment including but not limited to Pumps, Valves, Autoclaves, Centrifuges, Reactors, Tanks, HPLC Columns, Ultrafiltration skids, Microfiltration skids, and CIP Systems. Utilizes CMMS to manage the repair of process support and plant systems and equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in computer usage
- Solid understanding of basic technical or functional disciplines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Background in Biopharma
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices
- Solid understanding of Food and Drug Administration PSM
- Experience with continuous improvement activities
- Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Manage own time, professional development, and accountable for own results.
- Prioritize own workflow and assist in prioritizing the workflow of less-experienced colleagues.
- Utilizes CMMS to manage the completion of all preventative maintenance assignments.
- Ensures that all maintenance activity is completed within designated timeframe filing proper documentation per SOP, identifies work order updates and LOTO updates, as necessary.
- Reports any maintenance failure or issues immediately to management.
- Evaluates equipment performance and makes recommendations to maintenance performance or system design.
- Seeks to continuously improve maintenance practices.
- Troubleshoots systems or equipment and makes repairs to minimize downtime.
- Tracks repair history of process support systems and equipment.
- Provides needed support for the diagnostics of all equipment to ensure continuous operations.
- Provides support during annual shutdowns.
- Develops a list of required spare parts for equipment while performing work.
- Provides maintenance and repair support to Andover site.
- Routine performance of preventative maintenance on process support systems and equipment including but not limited to:
- Pumps, Valves, Autoclaves, Centrifuges, Reactors, Tanks, HPLC Columns, Ultrafiltration skids, Microfiltration skids, and CIP Systems
- Conducts rounds in GMP and non-GMP buildings.
- Maintains all spaces clean and orderly.
- Works’ cross-functionally with other groups to accomplish tasks or projects.
- Read and follow equipment schematics, blueprints logic diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Analyze equipment and line problems and implement resolutions.
- Instruct other technicians in the intricacies of assigned machinery and equipment.
- Should be able to climb a ladder, reach, bend, and lift loads up to 40lbs.
