Job Summary
I am seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join my small team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, carpet and vinyl, across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets high standards of quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your hands-on skills, and contribute to transforming spaces into functional and beautiful environments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and measuring to ensure proper flooring installation.
- Measure spaces accurately and cut flooring materials using hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders.
- Install various types of flooring including tile laying, hardwood, laminate, vinyl planks, and CARPET!!!
- Pay is based on a percentage of payout from jobs completed.
- Use caulking and trim carpentry techniques to finish edges, baseboards, moldings, and transitions seamlessly.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly throughout each project.
Experience
Candidates should possess previous experience in flooring installation. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, carpentry techniques—including trim carpentry—and the use of construction site safety protocols is required.
