URETHANE CONCRETE FLOORING INSTALLER-LABORER

Job Description:

Grand Industrial is seeking a dependable Urethane Concrete Flooring Installer-Laborer to join our commercial and industrial flooring team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone interested in learning urethane concrete flooring, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), and carpet installation. No previous urethane experience is required; construction experience is preferred.

You will work alongside experienced installers, assist with jobsite preparation and installations, and develop the skills needed to advance within our flooring team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Load, unload, and stage flooring materials, tools, and equipment.

· Set up work areas, mask adjacent surfaces, and protect customer property.

· Clean and prepare concrete and other subfloors under the direction of experienced installers.

· Operate vacuums and assist with grinding and other surface preparation tasks as trained.

· Assist with measuring, mixing, and applying urethane concrete flooring materials according to manufacturer instructions.

· Assist with LVT installation, including layout, measuring, cutting, placement, and finishing as trained.

· Assist with carpet installation, including carpet tile and broadloom carpet, as assigned and trained.

· Help install flooring transitions and complete edge and detail work under supervision.

· Clean tools and equipment, remove debris, and maintain safe, organized work areas.

· Follow company safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and immediately report unsafe conditions or equipment and material problems.

Qualifications:

· No previous urethane flooring experience required; construction or flooring experience preferred.

· Reliable transportation, dependable attendance, and punctuality.

· Ability to lift and handle materials weighing 50 pounds or more using safe lifting practices and assistance when needed.

· Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on concrete for extended periods.

· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crew.

· Willingness to learn urethane concrete, LVT, and carpet installation procedures.

· Attention to detail, professional conduct, and proper care of company equipment.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
