Role Description
This is a full-time position as an Auditor at Pfeffer, Hanniford and Palka, CPAs. Our client base is primarily governmental entities. The role is located in Brighton, MI.
The Auditor is in a position of advanced technical aptitude and supervisory responsibilities. Those duties will include:
- Advanced technical knowledge of audit and accounting reporting standards
- Working with other staff and coordinating the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up
- Stays current on technical and industry developments and standards while evaluating potential impacts on their client engagements
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Experience in auditing
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
