Senior Billing Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Billing Analyst to take ownership of the full billing lifecycle and serve as a subject matter expert for billing operations. This role will work closely with Project Management, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and customers to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, maximize revenue capture, resolve billing issues, and improve billing processes. Located in Richardson, TX fully onsite, direct hire role.
The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or revenue operations, with experience handling complex customer billing requirements, contracts, and Statements of Work.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience owning the full invoicing lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of contracts, SOWs, and customer-specific billing requirements.
- Experience with complex invoicing and reconciliation.
- Advanced Excel skills, including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Formulas
- Data analysis
- Experience with AR, billing operations, and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while partnering effectively across departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP, billing, or accounting systems.
- Revenue recognition and month-end close experience.
- Professional services, consulting, technology, or other project-based billing experience.
- Experience with Time & Materials (T&M), fixed-fee, or milestone billing.
- Process improvement or billing automation experience.
- Experience mentoring team members and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
