What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investment Operations Analyst position at Peyton Resource Group?
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented investment operations professional to support middle office and back-office functions within a fast-paced asset management environment. This role supports General Accounts assets invested across Property & Casualty, Life, and Health portfolios, including fixed income securities, equities, and related investment products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end trade lifecycle processing including trade capture, settlements, reconciliations, and post-trade activities
- Perform security master setup and maintenance for new and existing investment instruments
- Validate transaction details including trade dates, settlement dates, pricing, quantities, and cash activity
- Execute trade and cash reconciliations while researching and resolving operational breaks
- Investigate data and system discrepancies and escalate complex issues when needed
- Coordinate with traders, portfolio managers, custodians, and internal operations teams
- Support daily processing for equities, fixed income, bonds, repurchase agreements, and private credit transactions
Required Experience:
- 4 years of experience in investment operations, finance, accounting, or financial services administration
- Strong understanding of back-office investment operations and settlements
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and process execution
- Experience supporting operational workflows in a detail-heavy environment
Role is onsite 4 days a week in San Antonio. Relocation assistance is not offered.
