We're partnering with an industry-leading manufacturing company seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Technician to join their team. What You'll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment and production machinery.
- Program, debug, and modify PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, and operator interface (HMI) devices.
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels and production equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on automated manufacturing systems.
- Create and update electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and machine rebuilds.
- Troubleshoot conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and industrial control devices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Mentor junior technicians and provide technical support as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 7 years of experience in industrial manufacturing or automated production environments.
- 7 years of electrical troubleshooting and system diagnostics experience.
- 3 years of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and debugging experience.
- Experience with:
- PLCs & Ladder Logic
- VFDs & Servo Drives
- HMIs / Operator Interfaces
- Electrical Control Panels
- Industrial Automation Equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical components including relays, sensors, solenoids, motor starters, transformers, thermocouples, transducers, and I/O devices.
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
