We are seeking a Data Center EHS Specialist to support large-scale infrastructure construction projects. This role will play a key part in maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient jobsite environment while supporting project execution throughout the construction lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing safety programs within large construction environments, identifying hazards, implementing corrective actions, and partnering with field teams to promote a strong safety culture.

This position requires a hands-on safety professional who can operate effectively onsite, collaborate with project leadership, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and industry best practices.


Responsibilities

Safety Program Management

  • Develop, implement, and support site safety policies and procedures in alignment with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture focused on prevention, awareness, and continuous improvement.
  • Support implementation of site-specific safety programs and initiatives.
  • Assist with safety planning throughout all phases of construction activities.

Training & Compliance

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver safety orientations and training programs.
  • Conduct jobsite inspections to identify existing and potential hazards.
  • Recommend corrective actions and verify completion of safety improvements.
  • Provide guidance and support to field teams regarding safe work practices and compliance requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate safety documentation including:
  • Safety audits
  • Jobsite inspections
  • Pre-Task Plans (PTPs)
  • Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
  • Safety Data Sheets (SDSs)
  • Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action tracking.
  • Support preparation of documentation related to insurance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Site Support & Collaboration

  • Partner with construction leadership, project teams, and field personnel to improve safety performance.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support day-to-day safety operations and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
  • Experience developing and implementing safety programs.
  • Ability to identify hazards, recommend solutions, and influence safe behaviors.
  • Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with field teams, leadership, and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

Experience Requirements

Requirements:

  • 2 yrs large-scale construction industry
  • Data Center/Structured cabling highly preferred
  • Develops, implements, and delivers safety and orientation training programs.
  • Implementing safety programs
  • Inspects facilities and recommends corrective measures to mitigate hazards
  • High proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Maintains safety documentation including audits, inspections, Pre-Task Plans (PTP), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).
  • Prepares materials for hearings, lawsuits, and insurance cases.
  • Conducts accident and injury investigations
  • OSHA Outreach Trainer Certification for OSHA 10/30 Hour
  • BCSP certification such as ASP, CHST, OHST, CSP, SMT, SMS, CET, and/or GSP

Salary : $40 - $50
