Sanitation Supervisor – Food Production / Manufacturing

Pettit Staffing is recruiting a hands-on Sanitation Supervisor for an established food manufacturing facility.
We’re looking for a leader who understands industrial sanitation, employee supervision, chemical safety, equipment cleaning and production environments. Previous food manufacturing sanitation experience is highly desirable.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, train and supervise a sanitation team.
- Coordinate daily sanitation assignments and employee workloads.
- Ensure production machinery, processing equipment and facility areas are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Oversee safe use and mixing of sanitation chemicals, PPE and cleaning equipment.
- Inspect completed sanitation work before production startup.
- Train employees on cleaning procedures, chemical handling and workplace safety.
- Maintain sanitation records, logs and required documentation.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance and Quality Assurance.
What We’re Looking For
- Supervisory, lead or management experience in sanitation, food production, manufacturing or a related industrial environment.
- Experience leading and training employees.
- Hands-on knowledge of industrial cleaning, sanitation chemicals and PPE.
- Experience cleaning and/or sanitizing production machinery or industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, USDA or FDA requirements is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
$68,000–$70,000 annually
