Location: Pets First Hospital – On Site
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Sometimes 6:00 PM) | 3–4 days per week
Pay: Negotiable, based on experience
Job Description:
Pets First Hospital is seeking a dependable, caring Child Care Provider to care for a small group of 2–3 young children on-site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children in a calm, structured environment and values play-based learning.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing for the basic daily needs of young children (meals/snacks, hygiene, rest)
- Supervising children in a safe, nurturing environment
- Teaching basic age-appropriate skills such as numbers, letters, and early learning concepts
- Planning and engaging children in play and enrichment activities
- Maintaining a clean, organized child care space
- Communicating effectively with parents and hospital staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience caring for young children (formal or informal)
- Reliable, patient, and attentive
- Ability to manage a small group of children independently
- Background check required
