What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Intern position at PETROBRAS AMERICA?
Petrobras America Inc. is looking for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in a 3 month summer internship from June 01, 2026 to August 31, 2026 within our Accounting area. If you are currently enrolled in a third year or higher of a Bachelor degree in Accounting, or enrolled in an Accounting Graduate program with at least half of your program completed, then we invite you to apply!
Enrollment in a Houston-area university preferred
Bilingual candidates (Spanish and or Portuguese) and those with Administrative coursework are a plus, but not required.
The intern will be involved in the following projects and have the following responsibilities:
BLACKLINE PROJECT
Assistance for BOFC schedules (30 reports) mirror in Blackline, tying out with TB and validation
Assistance with CTB complex schedule mirror in Blackline, Tying out and validation
Assistance with Segmented TB schedule mirror in Blackline, Tying out and validation
Assistance with Reconciliation reports mirror in Blackline, tying out accounts and balances
MAPPING PROCESS PROJECT
Ex-pat payroll recording, reconciliation process mapping
Derivatives/Hedging recording, reconciliation process mapping
AR Allowance recording, reconciliation with BR policy process mapping
Assistance for Sales-Costs schedule reconciliation process mapping
