Overview:
We are looking for a reliable Assistant Clerk to support daily operations at our gas station. This position is focused on store upkeep, stocking, and customer service, with opportunities to assist on the register as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restock coolers, shelves, and displays to ensure products are available and organized
- Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom upkeep
- Assist customers with questions or needs in a friendly, professional manner
- Operate the cash register when needed, accurately processing transactions
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment
- Support the clerk and management team with general store operations
Qualifications:
- Previous retail, gas station, or customer service experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to handle cleaning tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings consistently
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Must be at least 21 years old
