Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Work safely while adhering to established safety procedures
- Comply with Quality Management Systems by following established procedures, performing quality checks and ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Be present during scheduled work hours and attend all required meetings
- Maintain excellent standards for housekeeping by keeping equipment and surrounding workspace clean and organized
- Assist Line Operators during job changes and PMs
- Ability to pull film until production is established
- Ability to transfer between lines as production requires
- Coordinate with Material Handler to ensure proper packaging materials are used and available according to customer expectations
- Package plastic product according to customer specification
- Ensure correct counts and amounts of product are in packaging
- Maintain paperwork as required
- Cut, bale, weigh and record scrap as required by facility
- Load cores into machine hoppers
- Communicate with line operators or shift supervisors regarding quality concerns
- Break relief for other associates assigned to other lines as directed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read work procedures in English
