Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and hands-on Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish.

This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day construction operations, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, maintaining project schedules, communicating with clients and project stakeholders, and ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and according to quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a strong field leader who can manage the details of a project while keeping the big picture in focus. You should be comfortable being on the jobsite, solving problems in real time, coordinating multiple trades, and taking ownership of the project’s overall success.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Coordination

• Manage construction projects from pre-construction through completion and closeout.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, inspections, deliveries, and other project activities.
• Track project progress and identify potential delays, conflicts, or issues before they become problems.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal team members.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, daily reports, change orders, and project correspondence.
• Help manage project budgets, costs, purchase orders, and subcontractor commitments.
• Identify scope gaps and coordinate solutions with the appropriate parties.
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on schedule, progress, and outstanding issues.

Field Supervision

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of construction activities on the jobsite.
• Coordinate and sequence multiple trades to keep the project moving efficiently.
• Ensure subcontractors are performing work according to plans, specifications, schedules, and quality expectations.
• Monitor workmanship and address deficiencies promptly.
• Verify that materials, equipment, and labor are available when needed.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure work is ready for inspection.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
• Enforce company safety policies and applicable OSHA and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve field conflicts and construction issues quickly and professionally.

Client & Team Communication

• Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day project coordination.
• Maintain professional and proactive communication with clients and project stakeholders.
• Set clear expectations with subcontractors and vendors.
• Communicate schedule changes, project issues, and decisions effectively.
• Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and team members.

Project Closeout

• Coordinate punch-list completion and final inspections.
• Ensure outstanding work and deficiencies are addressed.
• Coordinate final documentation, warranties, manuals, and project turnover.
• Help ensure projects are completed to the client's satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in construction project management, field supervision, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and building practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency with standard construction/project-management software and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA or other relevant safety certifications are a plus.
