Veterinary Assistant

PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistant to our team. At PetMedic, you can help shape the exciting new world of veterinary urgent care. As part of our team, you'll work with the latest technology, stay ahead using educational training, and partner with experienced doctors to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love.

Veterinary Assistant

PetMedic in Burlington, MA

$22.00-$28.00 an hour (based on experience)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist DVM and technicians with patient restraint and medical treatments
• Communicate effectively with clinical team and clients
• Comfortable with client education (reviewing medications, relaying treatment plans and discharge instructions)
• Obtain radiographs and perform in house bloodwork
• Clean exam rooms and replenish inventory as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Urgent care or ER experience preferred but not required
• Able to commit to evening and weekend shifts
