SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Responsible for standing outside of the store, with Petland marketing material and pets aimed to attract customers to further promote the brand.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gets the attention of potential customers outside of the Petland store with positively and enthusiasm.
- Holds up and “shakes” company marketing or promotions for public view.
- Maintains a safe distance at all times from oncoming traffic.
- Maintains professionalism at all times.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Walks puppies and pets around store plaza/area.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to stand and hold sign for multiple hours.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
- No prior experience or training required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Standing –Continually required to stand
- Walking – Frequently required to walk
- Sitting - Occasionally required to sit
- Travelling – Occasionally required to travel
- Finger Dexterity - Occasionally required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Climb, Bend, Balance, Stoop, Kneel or Crawl - Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Talking/Hearing - Frequently required to talk or hear
- Visual Accuity - Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
- Lifting/Pushing/Carrying – Not required to lift more than 20 lbs. at a time with frequent lifting, pushing, or carrying of up to 10 lbs.
