Tylor Laney is a litigation and dispute resolution lawyer. He has over 19 years of private practice handling complex commercial disputes. Tylor’s practice focuses on disputes involving business transactions, commercial contracts, construction, professional services, insurance coverage, employment, and insurance defense assignments.

Dispute Resolution

Tylor has participated in over 200 mediations in his career, nearly all involving six-figure and seven-figure damages. Tylor is a skilled and experienced negotiator who enjoys helping clients solve legal problems on the most favorable terms possible. Tylor has represented business owners in various matters, including disputes arising from the purchase and sale of businesses, other commercial transactions, breach of contract, vendor agreements, employment agreements, and related issues.

Insurance Coverage

Tylor has substantial experience advising policyholders on commercial and personal insurance coverage issues, including defense obligations, scope of coverage, duty to settle, primary and excess coverage, additional insurance, insurance regulations, bad faith, IFCA, and more.

Tylor believes successful litigation results from the development and execution of a sound strategy, timely and complete investigation, targeted and tailored discovery, strategic and persuasive motions practice, and diligent trial preparation.
