Position Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Assistant Planner to support our Production Control team in preparing, maintaining, and tracking production schedules. This role helps ensure materials, inventory, and capacity align to meet customer and production demands.
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining the Master Production Plan
- Review planned orders and coordinate with Planners/Schedulers to resolve material shortages
- Prepare and close work order packets
- Support scheduling, load management, and capacity planning
- Review lead times, lot sizes, and product families for optimal run quantities
- Monitor forecasts and recommend adjustments
- Partner with Sales/Customer Support to schedule new products
- Maintain inventory levels for assigned product lines
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A.A. degree or equivalent required
- APICS training/certification preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
