Job Description:
We are seeking an organized, highly motivated, and fast-working Shop Foreman to lead our structural steel fabrication team. In this role, you will oversee daily shop operations, manage production schedules, and ensure precision quality. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in modern manufacturing machinery and strong leadership capabilities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee fabrication team operations, assign tasks, and maintain a fast-paced, productive work environment.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret structural steel blueprints and technical drawings to guide production accurately.
- Equipment Operations: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment including Fiber Lasers and CNC Press Brakes.
- Hands-on Fabrication: Perform high-quality welding, fitting, and structural steel assembly as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a structural steel fabrication environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with CNC programming/operation (Press Brake, Fiber Laser) and standard welding/fitting techniques.
- Traits: Must be highly organized, capable of multitasking, and able to work quickly under tight deadlines.
