What are the responsibilities and job description for the Body Shop Recon position at PETERS AUTO SALES INC?
SUMMARY:
Provides clean up and support for The Bump Clinic division. Cleans vehicles per management instructions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Keeps service-vehicle lot neat and orderly, as directed by the Body Shop manager, and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Clean interior and exterior of service-vehicles, including the trunk, glove compartment, tires, windows, etc., as needed.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Maintain a safe and clean working area.
Understand and follow any federal, state, and or local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Auto reconditioning experience preferred, but not required
Valid driver’s license with record acceptable to Peters of Nashua’s insurance company standards
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to speak and write English fluently.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The clean up/service support person will perform physically demanding work throughout the shift, standing, bending, and stretching for 6-8 hours per day. Lifting items weighing 10-50 pounds. May be exposed to dust, exhaust fumes and a variety of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Exposure to outside temperature and weather conditions. Daytime, evening and weekend hours required.
