Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in person and via phone to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Conduct upselling by presenting additional options that enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Manage route driving to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining safety standards
- Perform merchandising tasks to ensure products are well-displayed and appealing to customers
- Assist with pricing strategies by understanding product value and market trends
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Handle heavy lifting and organize stock on shelves or in storage areas as needed
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, route schedules, and inventory levels
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Experience or familiarity with sales techniques, including upselling and customer engagement
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is a plus
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math skills for transactions and inventory management
- Ability to perform route driving efficiently while adhering to safety regulations
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during shifts
- Organizational skills to manage routes, stock displays, and customer information effectively
- Military experience is considered an asset due to discipline and teamwork skills
