Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote childhood development, including play-based learning, educational exercises, and social interaction.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by maintaining classroom organization and adhering to health and safety standards.
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that support early childhood education principles and developmental milestones.
- Monitor and support children’s emotional well-being, behavior management, and social skills development through positive guidance strategies.
- Collaborate closely with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and share insights about each child's growth.
- Supervise assistant teachers and caregivers, providing mentorship and guidance to foster teamwork and professional growth.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental assessments, and incident reports in compliance with licensing regulations.
Experience
- Proven classroom experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development stages, early childhood education best practices, and age-specific caregiving techniques.
- Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, preschool curriculum planning, and classroom management strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to nurture children through nurturing caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
