We prefer candidates with experience, but will train individuals with initiative and drive for success.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and guest satisfaction
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables efficiently to prepare for new guests while ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld
- Upsell menu specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Process cash transactions accurately and handle credit card payments using POS systems; manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings including food safety guidelines, beverage options, and food industry best practices
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving, bussing, and supporting team members
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities

Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
