📌 Key Responsibilities Include:
• Maintain and update accounts receivable census for billing accuracy
• Prepare and submit monthly invoices for residents and third-party payers (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Commercial Insurance)
• Process payments, resolve denials, and manage collections
• Validate insurance coverage and communicate benefits information
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff
• Assist families with Medicaid application processes
• Manage and distribute resident personal account funds
• Prepare audit documentation and monthly telephone bills
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
✅ What You Would Bring:
✔️ Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (preferred)
✔️ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in long-term care or physician billing
✔️ Proficiency with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial billing practices
✔️ Familiarity with UB-04, CMS-1500 claim forms, and payer systems
✔️ Strong communication and analytical skills
✔️ Experience with billing software (e.g., PointClickCare)
✔️ Commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and compassionate service
