About Clinic
PetDocks Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Part-Time or Seasonal Veterinary Technician to join our team in Morehead City, North Carolina.
Salary: $16.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
Schedule: Flexible part-time schedule available. We are open to candidates seeking seasonal employment, including those looking for summer, holiday, or temporary opportunities. Days and hours can be discussed based on availability and hospital needs. Some boarding/kennel shifts may be required.

NC state RVT license strongly preferred, but not required
1 years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary assistant or technician required
Understands the importance of excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Passion for working with animals and their owners
Familiarity with Cornerstone or ProVet preferred
Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
Experience with proper animal handling and restraint of a variety of species
Ability to perform nursing care in a veterinary hospital setting
Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
Basic understanding of common medications, vaccinations, and preventatives
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per doctor orders
Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
Ensure a clean, safe and organized work environment
