Here’s what you can expect when you join our team:

- Salary: $17.00 – 20.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday. Hospital is closed on the weekends, but some boarding/kennel shifts are required.
- Location: 5307 Hwy 70 W, Morehead City, NC 28557

Who You Are:

- NC state RVT license strongly preferred, but not required
- 1 years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary assistant or technician required
- Understands the importance of excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Familiarity with Cornerstone or ProVet preferred
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint of a variety of species
- Ability to perform nursing care in a veterinary hospital setting
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Basic understanding of common medications, vaccinations, and preventatives
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per doctor orders
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Ensure a clean, safe and organized work environment
