The Email Marketing Intern will support the email marketing team for Pet Supplies Plus and Wag N’ Wash, gaining hands-on exposure to lifecycle marketing across two national brands. The Email Marketing Intern responsibilities include:
- Support day-to-day execution of email and SMS campaigns under team guidance.
- Assist with basic email builds in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and SMS setup in Attentive, including proofing, testing, QA, and scheduling.
- Help ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with email and SMS best practices.
- Assist with audience documentation, basic performance reporting, and post-campaign organization.
- Support administrative tasks such as organizing campaign assets and documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and learning sessions to gain exposure to campaign workflows and tools.
- Hands-on experience supporting real email and SMS campaigns.
- Exposure to enterprise‑level email and SMS marketing tools, data systems, and workflows used to support lifecycle marketing campaigns.
- Experience working in a supportive, collaborative team environment focused on professional growth.
- - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- - Interest in email marketing and an eagerness to learn how brands use digital channels to communicate with customers.
- - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- - Willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.
- - Familiarity with common spreadsheet or data organization tools.
- - Basic understanding of digital marketing, email, or SMS concepts.
- - Introductory knowledge of HTML.
