Position Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Pet Care Retail Associate to join our team! In this role, you’ll be the face of our store—helping customers, supporting grooming services, and ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all customers entering the store
- Engage with customers to determine their needs and recommend appropriate products and services
- Check in and check out grooming appointments and walk-in services
- Promote and sell Good Life memberships
- Confidently overcome customer objections and provide solutions
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Continue learning about pets, products, and services through training and self-education
- Stay informed about current promotions, contests, and store goals
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently; reconcile daily sales
- Answer phones professionally and provide accurate information
- Maintain cleanliness of the store and grooming areas
- Stock and organize merchandise
- Assist customers by carrying purchases to their vehicles when needed
- Maintain awareness of inventory and loss prevention (shrink)
- Perform other duties as assigned with a positive attitude
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
