What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant / Front Desk Administration position at Pet Craze?
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Kennel Attendant to join our team! This position involves caring for dogs in our facility and maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all animals. This job is part-time and weekends are required. This job needs someone with a flexible schedule, being able to work as early as 6am and as late as 7 or 8pm.
Responsibilities include
- Feeding, watering, medicating, and monitoring the health and behavior of the dog.
- Clean and sanitize kennels and play areas.
- Walk dogs and assist with exercise and enrichment activities.
- Wash food bowls, laundry, and maintain cleanliness of the facility.
- Assist with checking dogs in and out of boarding and daycare.
- Follow safety and sanitation protocol.
- Communicate effectively with staff and supervisors.
This is a physically demanding job that requires lifting, bending, standing for long periods of time, and working in all types of weather.
Requirements include:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
- Dependable, punctual , and able to work weekends and holidays.
